Hello there.

I’m Ariel, the creator, maker, and owner of Watson Ceramics LLC. I am a Fine Artist based in Austin, Texas and while my primary practice involves sculpture and printmaking, ceramics have become a large part of my life. The meditative nature of throwing on the wheel has brought me a lot of peace these past couple years. 

While I am always learning new aspects of the medium and honing my technique, I have decided now’s as good a time as any to make this business a reality. Creating pieces for use, be it daily or on special occasions, is a really wonderful side of artistic creation. Knowing that someone might pick up one of my pieces and find joy in the way it feels, be it texturally, ergonomically, or functionally, is what drives me to create.

Clay is a beautifully fluid form that can be fired to stone, or recycled and recreated into new forms. There’s so much potential and so much to love.
